the Bryants say i do

I took a more photo journalistic approach with the Bryant's wedding - I'm really digging on the emotion that comes through on the high contrast black and white shots and more candid shots. Here's a few of my favorites.

For all you family and guests... I'll be providing a link to the full gallery where you can see all 800+ photos and purchase prints within the week.

Alexa and Julio's Custom Invitations

Alexa and Julio wanted invitations with a vintage Anthropologie style flare. I photographed or hand drew every element of these invitations with their style and personalities as the inspiration. The full color tri-folded invitations are printed on a gorgeous slightly iridescent pearl stock, accompanied with two double sided Cards - one RSVP and one Map with directions to the event.  Invitations are Inserted into a 100% recycled brown craft envelope. The envelopes will be hand-addressed on a vintage label in red ink to match the hand-written elements of the invitation and postage paid using authenticate vintage US stamps from the 1950's-70's. Click on the elements below to view them in detail.

Thanks for choosing me to do your photography and custom invitations Julio and Alexa! These invites are just a taste of the details to come in the wedding! If you are interested in ultra custom invitations or announcements that fit your personality and story let me know!

Inspiration is cross pollinating.

" Truly imaginative visual work Is extremely important in society. Just in the way that I’m inspired by books, and magazines of all kinds, conversations I have, movies, so I also think when I put visual work out there into the mass media — work that is interesting, unusual, intriguing — work that maybe opens up that sense of inquiry in the mind — that I’m seeding the imagination of the populous. And you just never know who is going to take something from that and turn it into something else. Because inspiration is cross pollinating. A piece of mine may inspire a playwrite or a scientist or a novelist, and that in turn may be the seed that inspires a doctor or a philanthropist or a babysitter. And this isn’t something you can quantify or track or measure..." — Marian Bantjes

Yet another great ted talk.
