i know. i've been super neglectful in keeping the blog up to date. Maybe I'll catch up in the next week. In the meantime, Here's something to inspire and hold you over... I saw the Avett brothers last night. My fifth Avett show and my favorite live band ever! I came across them in a great little dive bar in North Carloina a couple years back on a road trip and they've been in constant rotation on my ipod ever since. i spent the windy evening tooling around SL with garret and erin, exploring old alleys, raiding porch swings in the avenues, breaking into locked up schools and running around the state capitol. i think we got some great shots for the wedding invitations! here's a preview of things to come. i have over 250 photos to go through tonight and pick the best ones...

it's a good day.

• falling asleep lastnight at 7:00 and not waking up until 8:30 this morning
• a dark chocolate raspberry THANK YOU cake from BlackHound sent to the office
• a nap in the park under a big shady tree at lunch
• coming back to the office, checking itunes for new releases and finding a perfect little new release from modest mouse. i think i'll get myself a present...

what a trip

all good things must come to an end. but what a great two weeks!

It was so good to see all my old friends! ... you all have an open invite to come play in utah.

The best convention I've ever been to. period.
I'm not giving away any surprises to those who haven't gone yet, but you're definitely in for some great stuff! Now the work begins... this week I have tons on my mind. A fresh reinvigorated perspective and new goals to put in place.

Glad you came out for a visit Chad! I know i can be bad at keeping in contact with old friends- but nothing replaces the people you've known since you were young!
