idaho

time to camp! we're heading up to Idaho city of rocks to climb...

(oh, and these things as well....)::
mountain bike
hike
lay about on sun drenched rocks
be lazy in hot springs
look up at stars
play with the dogs
get blisters on our fingers
partake of beer
tell scary stories to kids
play with the cameras
eat like carnivours (and hungry vegetarians)
hide and seek in the dark
write
and of course... frolic

the books to bring::
some steinbeck — as its been elluded to that i am unread and unlearned having not read tortilla flat)
something lighter and A.D.D friendly — Insects are just like you and me except some of them have wings
a little black journal — to spill

the prep work::
Tonight Jenna and I are making vats of chili, cornbread, chocolate brownies, mac & cheese and other fat saturated gluten-full carbohydrates to add to the guilty pleasure!
and most importantly, get out of Utah and swing by a legit Idaho liquor store to make a few investments...

Big rocks await.

oh, and the phone will be O.F.F. saturday afternoon to monday night... because sometimes it's necessary to be disconnected.
