beauty in the details

You can't be driving through southern utah and pass up zion on the way home. Kinda last minute, but i slept in my car in the middle of the dessert. woke up to see the sun rise over the red rocks in the distance and made it to the narrows just in time to watch the sun break into the slot canyons. {check that off my list} UNBELIEVABLE. no words can describe the magic of this place.

We had the the privilege of hosting the Curcuit and District Overseer in our congregation this week and Carl put together yet another spectacular dinner party at my house for them. Of course in typical Carl fashion it included five courses, with wine pairings. Another evening of great food and amazing friends!
